Most older adults want to age in place in their own homes.
The 2020 Homeless Count in Pasadena identified 158 people over 55 years who were unhoused. In South Pasadena, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority counted 28 total individuals who were unhoused, which is almost double the last count 2 years before.

Pasadena MASH Program
MASH runs work crews that perform various services for low- and moderate-income homeowners in Pasadena, most of which are at no cost, including wheelchair ramp construction and exterior lead-based paint stabilization and house painting. MASH also provides a variety of fee-based services for homeowner.
